What it is about
The facial massage that rejuvenates by hand
Kobido massage is a facial massage that, through different manoeuvres, produces a rejuvenating lifting effect that is visible straight away. Varying the intensity improves circulation in the face, neck, shoulders and upper chest, and stimulates collagen and elastin production.
The course is mainly practical and in small groups. It suits both people who already give massages and complete beginners: acupuncturists, massage therapists, beauticians, hairdressers or yoga teachers, as well as anyone who wants to do it at home.
Nothing is kept secret: the whole technique is shared so you can practise it independently, along with the guidelines to work comfortably without tiring.

Nothing held back
The whole technique is shared so you can practise it independently. Each part has its theory and its practice, with changes of intensity over the face, neck, shoulders and upper chest, and work with rosehip oil and facial Gua Sha.

Syllabus
From introduction to advanced level
Both Kobido levels in a single weekend, with the theory and practice of each part.
1. Introduction
What Japanese facial massage is, its history and link with traditional Chinese medicine, benefits, contraindications, oils and products.
Applied theory
2. The full sequence
Warm-up and adjusting the central nervous system, neck and shoulders, initial drainage, the full face sequence and final drainage.
Practice
3. Advanced level
Fascia on the chest, neck and head, shiatsu on the scalp and face, movements on cheeks, nose, eyes, ears and forehead, a more complete drainage and facial Gua Sha.

We provide massage tables, towels, oils and products. You only bring comfortable clothes.

Questions about the course
Do I need prior experience?
No. The course gives you what you need to perform a complete Kobido. If you already give massages or work in beauty, it will broaden your techniques.
Are both levels covered in one weekend?
Yes. Over Saturday and Sunday you work through the introduction and the advanced level, with theory and practice for each.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothes and short nails. We provide the rest of the materials.
Where is it taught?
At our Barrio del Pilar centre, Avenida de Betanzos 64, Madrid.
When is the next date?
19 and 20 December 2026, with 8 places. Places are booked online in our shop; if it does not suit you, leave your details in the form and we will let you know about the next one.
What if I cannot attend?
If the course does not go ahead for reasons on our side, we refund the full amount. If you cancel at least 10 days in advance, we refund 50%; after that there is no refund. The place is tied to the date booked and cannot be changed.
